As we prepare for this year’s AGM, we’re reminded of the invaluable role our Trustees play. You can read more about the people on our current Board under “our people” on our website. Over the last six years, we have also completed and published an annual diversity audit of our Board. We’re committed to being open about our journey to ensure we are representative of the people we serve, and this year’s audit report is available here. As part of the report, we’ve highlighted gaps in the current representation among our Board – both in terms of the diversity of our membership, and the diversity of our communities.
If you’re interested in becoming a Trustee, we’d love to hear from you. As you’ll note from our diversity audit we are particularly keen to hear from people from organisations that are public bodies and/or individuals that have a disability, are under the age of 40, come from a working class background, and/or are from communities under-represented on our Board.
As well as checking out the diversity audit above, you can find more information about the role in our summary sheet here. We’d be happy to provide further information, or we can an arrange a call with existing trustee so you can hear first hand about what it’s like to be part of the Board.
If you want to put yourself forward then all you need to do to is to ask another London Funders member to nominate you using this form, and return it to us, along with a biography (no more than 300 words), by 5pm on 11 November. New trustees will be appointed following a vote by members as part of the AGM on 27 November 2024.
