Our learning programme explores issues and ideas that are relevant across our membership of funders – from more equitable funding practices to reconsidering how we manage risk and collaborate effectively. We think that by digging deep into some of these areas we can gain a better understanding of what action we need to take, both individually and collectively to make funding more effective and better meet the needs of civil society and communities.
Our learning programme features regular workshops, events and resources and below we’ve highlighted how you can get involved:
- Every May we host our annual ‘Festival of Learning, bringing members together to share best ideas and discuss how funders can best support the capital’s communities. You can read reflections from 2023 Festival of Learning here and do join us in May 2024!
- Check out our events page where we publish upcoming learning workshops and sessions.
- Under ‘Learning Resources’ you can access all the learning we’ve gathered over the years. From reports to blogs to data, our learning resources capture insights from the London Funders team, our members, changemakers and charities across themes such as collaboration, equity, place and process.
If you are a London Funders’ member, you can sign up to our ‘Funder Five’ newsletter to stay up to date with the latest learning and news from the sector. Email Ora Ataguba to be added to the list.
And if you want to have a more informal conversation, our Learning and Communications Manager, Malene Bratlie is always up for a coffee! Get in touch with her here.
