London Funders would like to thank everyone who has engaged so thoughtfully in the discussions surrounding the proposed changes. Your active participation and constructive feedback reflect the strength and commitment of our network, and we are grateful for the time and care members have given throughout this process.
If you weren’t able to join us, we are pleased to confirm that members approved the proposal, with 98.5% voting in favour of the changes to our governing document. The changes were to remove the restriction that limits us to operate only in London, and change our registered charity and company name to Funders Together.
We are incredibly heartened to have such overwhelming support for this proposal. This outcome gives us a strong foundation to continue evolving as an organisation — ensuring we remain well positioned to support our members and respond effectively to the changing needs of our communities.
We look forward to working closely with members and partners as we now proceed to formalise the changes and progress on the next steps we have outlined today. But most importantly, we want to continue the conversations with you all that will help shape our future direction and collective work as a movement of funders.
Thank you once again to everyone who contributed to this process — including the speakers who got us thinking about collaboration during today’s learning meeting, the members who shared thoughts ahead of today, and finally to our Board. It is fitting that this is Trustees' week, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has served on our Board for helping ensure our work is always grounded in the voice of our members, and for the time and consideration that they have put into this process.
This is an edited version of communication sent to all voting London Funders members on 4 November 2025 following our General Meeting.
