About the role
We are looking for an individual with considerable Investment Management expertise to join our Board of Trustees and play a leading role on our Asset Allocation Committee. The Committee oversees the management of the Trust’s endowment, and is a crucial conduit for engaging with our Investment Managers.
The individual will need to have a professional experience working with Investment Managers. This should cover:
- Selecting Investment Managers to deliver on investment objectives
- Scrutinising the performance of Investment Managers
- Ensuring that Investment Managers deliver on their ESG commitments, and align with the ethos and mission of the Trust.
Candidates should be passionate about promoting effective approaches to tackling poverty and inequality in London. The Trust is committed to ensuring that its work at all levels reflects the diversity of London. We are keen to appoint board members with lived experience of poverty and disadvantage in addition to the required skillset.
Even if you are someone that has not considered being a trustee before now we still want to hear from you if you have the passion and skills to help the Trust. We provide support to anyone joining that is new to this type of role.
We are keen to welcome applications from groups who are currently underrepresented on the Board, in particular people under the age of 35, disabled people and people from Black and Minority Ethnic communities.
