About the role
NPC is looking for a Policy and Programme Partner to support NPC to develop and deliver its successful and ambitious programmes that work with philanthropists and charities to create positive social change for people and communities.
The Policy and Programme Partner will direct programmes currently focused on environmental change, and children and young people’s mental health, including:
- The innovative £1.6m Everyone’s Environment programme, including the Local and Voices strand, a new Leaders strand working with CEOs from environmental and social charities, and policy recommendations on more inclusive green jobs and skills provision.
- A programme exploring how charities and funders from across sectors can work more effectively together to prevent children and young people from experiencing poor mental health.
The Partner will provide policy and advocacy advice and direction to the Managers of these programmes and other future projects/ programmes and work with colleagues across NPC to develop new programmes. They will influence at senior levels of government (as required) and work closely with policy colleagues to grow their policy and advocacy skills.
