About the role
Haringey Giving is all about enabling people in Haringey to take action and overcome challenges and make improvements on the things that matter to them - in their own lives, and within their communities. We are an agile, innovative and responsive funder who, since our establishment in October 2019, has already distributed well over half a million pounds of funding to 117 local good causes through our grant programmes.
We are part of a network of place-based giving schemes across London who are leveraging resources to support local communities. We are a medium-sized scheme and are growing our core team to scale up our activity. We are a proactive scheme within the London’s Giving network and have recently led a partnership of giving schemes, ‘Givings Together’, who are working with communities to test and learn from different participatory approaches to tackle structural discrimination in grant making. Our small team draws on a wide range of skills from the Haringey Giving Board, including expertise in fundraising, communications, programme development and grant making.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of our grant programmes, and to shape and forward effective participatory decision making in how funding is allocated.
You will part of a dynamic team as we grow our work, increasing our reach and resources and enhancing our outcomes for local communities. You will gather data, learnings and insight around our impact, and share these along with case studies and good practice with our donors, funders and partners.
