Business Development Executive - Rocket Science

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000

Contract: Permanent, hybrid

Deadline: Friday, 20 December 2024

About the role

Rocket Science is an independent policy, research and grants management consultancy working for the public, charity and private sectors. They work with their clients to help them design, enhance and fund services that address inequalities and transforms people’s lives. We are a close knit team who live our values of curiosity, commitment, kindness, communication, self-reflection and managing well-being.

Through our grantmaking work, we have identified an opportunity for a dedicated role to realign our existing offers into one. This is an ambitious new role raising profile, reach and influence as a support service for grantmakers and funders. The postholder will drive business development by building new networks and connections, driving products to new markets including funders and charities alike, and support the bidding and winning of proposals and new work. This will not only include repackaging a Grants Advisory and Grantmaking offer but also lead in building a series of free events/sessions to create new opportunities across the company and future business.

You will be confident, used to developing clear marketing materials, highly organised, have experience of how to design, promote and deliver events and other opportunities.

You will have a proven track record in creativity, particularly creating and delivering a new product to a range of clients either in the private or voluntary sector, experience within the fundraising, grantmaking or charity sector with existing contacts, and new ideas to help grow the business.
