Join fellow London Funders members to explore how we can work together to tackle issues related to housing & homelessness
Chaired by Homeless Link, Commonweal Housing, and St-Martin-in-the-Fields Charity, the London Funders Housing and Homelessness Network will meet in-person on Tuesday 20 October as we explore how independent philanthropy support systems change, strengthen evidence, and enable innovation. We'll hear from Oak Foundation and the Centre for Homelessness Impact.
We will also discuss the recent developments in homelessness & rough sleeping policy following Andy Burnham’s appointment as Prime Minister, and what these could mean for London, funders and the organisations they support.
Members have previously expressed an interest in building a clearer picture of who is funding housing and homelessness work in London, what they are funding and where there may be gaps, connections or opportunities for greater alignment. We’ll explore what a useful mapping exercise might look like, what information it should capture and, importantly, what we would want to use it for.
Finally, there’ll be time for an open forum, giving members space to share emerging challenges and opportunities, raise questions where peer input would be helpful, and exchange updates from across the sector.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
