How can funders support best practice around protecting young people from violence and exploitation in the capital?
Chaired by Gemma Juma, CEO at London Funders member, Jack Petchey Foundation, the London Funders Children & Young People Network will meet in-person on Thursday 12 February.
For our first meeting of 2026, we'll be exploring how funders can support best practice around protecting young people from violence and exploitation in the capital. We'll be joined by:
- Safer London who'll give an overview of their work, share insights around prioritising trauma-informed approaches and contextual safeguarding
- Power the Fight who’ll share key reflections from their work in and with communities, and policy makers to tackle violence affecting young people
- London’s Violence Reduction Unit who’ll share insights around best-practice to reduce and prevent violence, and how funders can support
There will also be time in the meeting for members to ask questions, collectively horizon scan, and share any general updates about their work – so please come ready to share. Sign up here to be kept up to date.
