On Tuesday 19 March, the CYP Network will meet in-person to understand more about how funders can support London’s care-experienced young people.
The Pan London Care Leavers Compact provides a framework for developing consistency, breadth and quality in the support offered to London’s Care Leavers. Sponsored by Lambeth and the London Innovation and Improvement Alliance (LIIA), working to the Association of London Directors of Children’s Services (ALDCS), delivery partners include the Pan London Children in Care Council, Partnership for Young London, and the GLA.
We’re pleased to be joined by representatives from the Pan London Children In Care Council (convened by Partnership for Young London) who will share insights into the work they have completed so far to improve the care experience for looked-after children & young people and care leavers across London, and what funders can learn from this.
We’ll also hear from funder Esmée Fairbairn Foundation about their approaches to funding work that supports care experienced young people, the relationships and partnerships fostered to deliver this work, and the learning that has come from this.
There’ll also be time in the meeting for members to network, collectively horizon scan and share any updates about their work– so please come ready to share! Teas, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
