She works alongside residents, community organisations, public services and partners to help create thriving, connected communities.
With a career spanning local government, partnership building and community engagement, Yvonne is passionate about bringing people together around shared goals and creating opportunities for communities to shape the decisions that affect their lives. She believes that some of the best solutions to complex challenges come from listening carefully, building trust and creating genuine partnerships between institutions and communities.
Throughout her career, Yvonne has championed approaches that strengthen community voice, support the voluntary and community sector, and embed prevention and participation at the heart of public service delivery. She is particularly interested in how collaboration across sectors can unlock new ideas, tackle inequality and improve outcomes for local people.
As a member of the London Leadership Board, Yvonne is looking forward to contributing insights from place-based partnership working, community power and cross-sector collaboration to help shape positive change across London.
Yvonne's hidden London gem is: the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow, a place that combines creativity, social purpose and local history, surrounded by beautiful parkland and just the right amount of calm away from the pace of the city
