Sarah leads the organisation’s grant programmes, ensuring that they meet the Foundation’s objective to be an impactful and innovative grant maker. Together with their CEO, she undertook a review of this 240 year old endowment charity, redefining its mission, objectives and agreeing its grant priorities. Sarah is committed to improving opportunities for local people and strengthening the voluntary and community sector across Richmond upon Thames.
Sarah is also a Trustee of OneRichmond, a place-based giving charity supported by Richmond Foundation which helps unlock giving in the borough.
Before joining Richmond Foundation, she spent 18 years at the Greater London Authority and the London Development Agency working with partners across the capital to deliver programmes that supported children and young people, improved educational outcomes, and developed skills.
