She also Co‑Chairs the London Communities Emergencies Partnership which mobilises the charity sector in planning for and supporting communities during emergencies.
She has over 25 years’ experience in the charity sector, working across a range of social justice issues including in services which support children, young people, families, housing, substance misuse and equalities.
She previously served as an elected Councillor in the London Borough of Camden for eight years, during which time she held Cabinet roles for Social Services and Children, Schools and Families, as well as co‑chairing the Local Health Partnership.
Geethika is currently a Trustee of the Jo Cox Foundation and has served on the boards of several local and national charities. She has also been Chair of Governors at an inner‑London primary school.
