About the role
This is a great opportunity to join our Community Partnerships Unit as a Thriving Communities Grants Manager. You will be part of a supportive, committed, and community focused team with strong links across the Council and with external stakeholders.
You will work closely with an existing Grants Manager raising awareness of funding opportunities, encouraging strong applications, and ensuring funding allocations are targeted to meeting the priorities of the council and Hounslow’s diverse communities.
This role needs an experienced grants manager who can:
• Manage the development and delivery of the Council’s Thriving Communities Fund, investing capital and revenue funding in a way that meets local priorities and addresses gaps.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a strong understanding of local need and help increase the level of funding reaching parts of the borough and those communities less successful in attracting funding in the past.
• Ensure robust monitoring, evaluation, and reporting systems are in place and manage the review and ongoing development of the council’s new grant management system.
