About the role
- Are you interested in working for a grant-making Charitable Foundation that supports schools and youth organisations across London and Essex?
- Do you want to work for an organisation that positively promotes young people and celebrates their achievements?
- Do you have excellent partnership management, organisational and communications skills?
- If so, could you join our dynamic team as our new Senior Partnerships Officer?
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with excellent project management and partnership management skills, to manage Jack Petchey Foundation’s exciting internship programme and to manage a portfolio of our Jack Petchey Partnership grants.
The annual Jack Petchey Internship Programme provides funding to youth organisations in London and Essex to enable them to employ a paid intern to improve the work they do with their young beneficiaries. Alongside a year’s employment, the Jack Petchey Interns receive a training bursary, a professional mentor, and a programme of training and development organised by Jack Petchey Foundation. The Jack Petchey Internship Programme is intended to help grow the youth sector’s future leaders, by giving them a flying start in the sector. The Senior Partnerships Officer will manage this rewarding programme.
The Senior Partnerships Officer will also manage a portfolio of Jack Petchey Foundation’s successful partnership programmes. Jack Petchey Foundation provides programmes that have been developed in partnership with organisations in order to deliver outstanding opportunities for young people across London and Essex. From singing to maths, engineering to dance, our partnerships provide a wide range of opportunities to inspire and engage young people. The post holder will work closely with the Head of Partnerships to ensure consistency across the Foundation in our approach to working with and funding partners, and to improve our partnership processes and systems so that we can have the maximum possible positive impact, providing young people with excellent opportunities to grow and thrive.
