Participatory Facilitation Manager - Camden Giving

Salary: £32,000 - £42,000

Contract: Full-time

Deadline: 12am, Wednesday 23 April 2025

About the role

Our mission is to end local poverty and inequality in Camden. Our vision is to create a more connected and participatory Camden, where every citizen has the tools, power, and opportunity to address inequality. We’re creating a place where citizens are more actively involved in driving social change. This is not just about funding; it’s about influencing the wider ecosystem, including businesses, government, and other institutions, to foster lasting, deep-rooted change.

The Participatory Facilitation Manager is a key role within our grant making processes, supporting residents to make informed funding decisions in panels, within Camden Giving and beyond. They are responsible for leading panel meetings where funding decisions are made and ensuring grant awards at Camden Giving are made by individuals with lived experience of the inequalities our funds aim to address.

The Participatory Facilitation Manager works closely with the Head of Grants Programmes to ensure our funds align with Camden Giving’s strategic objectives and the funding priorities set by our Alumni.

This post does not have any direct full-time line management responsibilities but will include deputising for the Head of Grants Programmes where required. Together they are responsible for overseeing the facilitation of 50+ grants panel meeting per year therefore this role requires regular evening commitments.

This is a full-time post, 5 days a week (35 hours per week, usually 9am to 5pm), working from our office in Camden, with the possibility of some at-home working. When grants panel meetings take place, these are usually scheduled in advance and take place between 5.30pm and 8.30pm in person in Camden.

How to apply

Applicants should send a cover letter stating their CV and relevant experience and motivation for applying for the role to daniel@camdengiving.org.uk by midnight on 23 April 2025.
