PA to Director of Charity Development and Directorate Coordinator - Lloyds Bank Foundation of England & Wales

Salary:          £34,000 - £37,000 per annum
Contract:      Full-time, permanent
Deadline:      14 January 2024

About the role 

This is a key role in the Charity Development & Funding Directorate with the overall purpose of providing support to the Director of Charity Development and the wider team to ensure the successful delivery of the funding programmes and development support to small and local charities.

You’ll be an energetic and motivated member of the team, who is unfazed by working to deadlines or under pressure and has a good eye for detail, enabling us to deliver our emerging programme of work with excellence. You will work closely with the Director, both Heads of Grants, Head of Grant Management and the Skills-based Volunteering Lead.

The postholder will also deputise for the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and provide support to the Senior Leadership Team as and when required.

You will have previous demonstrable experience as working as a PA to a busy senior leader as well as in providing excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Essential experience and knowledge - 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong project management, administrative and prioritisation skills to work
  • Experience working independently and managing a varied and often unpredictable workload, with competing demands and tight deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint
  • Demonstrable collaborative approach to team co-ordination and cross-organisational working
  • Ability to create standard content relating to events, e.g. slide decks, handouts, name badges etc
  • Able to arrange and then manage events and workshops within the Directorate
  • A proactive attitude, making suggestions and working as part of a flexible and approachable team that is constantly seeking to improve
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion and tackling social injustice and prejudice and willingness to uphold the Foundation’s values in all areas of work
  • Willingness to travel across England and Wales which may require some working outside of core hours
  • Demonstrates common sense and good judgement in pressured situations with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
