Marketing Manager - New Philanthropy Capital

Salary: £36,000 - £46,000

Contract: Hybrid, full-time with compressed hours or part-time basis considered (min. 30 hours p/w)

Deadline: 12pm, Tuesday 15 July 2025

About the role

NPC is a think tank and consultancy with a purpose. We believe in the power of a growing impact sector to deliver the systems change we need to achieve lasting, positive impact in our communities. For over 20 years NPC has played a crucial role at the heart of the impact sector. We work to support and strengthen the impact sector. We do this through convening and influencing, consultancy, collaborative projects for change, and sharing our learning as we go.

We are looking for a talented and creative Marketing Manager to shape the stories in our projects. Examples of the types of projects we are currently working on include: Measuring the impact sector to present why this sector is important, how big it is, who the key or innovative players are, and importantly, where are the entry points; Everyone’s Environment, working with over 80 social and environmental charities to empower people from the UK’s diverse social groups to have a say on how we confront the climate and nature crises; and Children and Young People’s Mental Health, a programme to map mental health support systems to identify gaps and suggest ways that the impact sector can fill them.

The attributes we are looking for include:

  • Strong skills in creative and engaging storytelling.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • An understanding of NPC’s mission and a passion for and commitment to working in the impact sector.

The breadth of work and topics, autonomy, intellectual stimulation and supportive culture makes this a special role. We understand nobody has everything in the job description. What’s more important to us is a real enthusiasm for the job, and we are committed to supporting and developing you through informal and formal learning and training.

As an equal opportunity employer, we particularly welcome applications from ethnic minority candidates and individuals who self-identify as being from an economically and/or educationally disadvantaged backgrounds, groups currently underrepresented in our workforce.

How to apply

You can apply by sending:

  • a cover letter as an attachment that highlights the attributes that you believe that you would bring to this role.
  • your CV as an attachment
  • a completed equal opportunities form

to recruitment@thinknpc.org before the deadline of 12 noon 15 July 2025 quoting Reference CO:02 in the subject line. All applications are anonymised before screening.
