About the role
The Interim Director, working closely with the Trustees, will provide strategic leadership as well as day-to-day management and oversight of all activities and our small staff team. They will assist the Trustees to begin to review the Foundation's grant-giving programme and its impact in order to consider options for the future grantmaking strategy.
The Interim Director will:
- Serve as an ambassador of the Foundation's mission.
- Be a lead developer of our grants portfolio.
- Be a steward of finances.
- Be an active engager of our partners and stakeholders.
- Be a driver of high performance.
Key parts of the interim role will be to work closely with the Trustees to help them assess each of their level of involvement and establish clear delivery goals for the Foundation.
If you are a proactive Senior Leader with experience of the grantmaking process – either as a grantmaker or a grantseeker; you have the ability to lead the development, embedding and delivery of strategy; have experience of change management; charity governance and managing and mitigating strategic risks; and of thriving in a small organisation – we are interested in hearing from you.
