Main responsibilities

Monitoring

  • Ensuring that our programmes have excellent data collection processes which enable effective evaluation of our work and comply with UK GDPR
  • Monitor the application of our Theory of Change
  • Provide regular reporting and work with your fundraising team to respond to specific data requests where they support additional income generation

Evaluation

  • Liaising with external organisations to commission research where necessary
  • Use our data to identify gaps in our grant offer/offer to frontline workers that align with our strategic priorities
  • Support the Impact Manager in producing reports for Trustees and donors
  • Make recommendations on the quality of our data and any areas for improvement required
  • Make recommendations of how we can strengthen our programme design to deliver our strategic aims

Learning

  • Ensure that we apply best practice principles to data collection when working with people experiencing homelessness, staying up to date with developments in data collection within the homelessness and grant-giving sectors
  • Share insight from our activities with the programmes teams to inform their work as well as identify opportunities to increase our learning from our grant giving and work with frontline workers

Other activities

  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of what other evidence is being shared within the homelessness sector on interventions that work
  • Building mechanisms and opportunities which encourage sharing learning across teams within the Charity
