Grants Officer x 2 - Jack Petchey Foundation

Are you interested in working for a Charitable Foundation that supports schools and youth organisations across London and Essex? Do you want to work for an organisation that positively promotes young people and celebrates their achievements? Do you have excellent administrative, organisational and analytical skills?

If so, could you join our dynamic Grants Team as one of our Grants Officers?

About the role 

We are looking for a two enthusiastic people to join our dynamic Grants Team and help expand our grant programmes. The focus of the roles will be to support schools and youth organisations to run the JPF Achievement Award Scheme and associated JPF programmes effectively, with one role focusing on North West and West London and the other on East London and Uniformed Organisations.

The role will require the post holder to develop membership of the JPF Achievement Award Scheme, promoting this to Schools and Youth Organisations that are not currently part of the scheme, as well as identifying growth and expansion for those already on the scheme. The Grants Officer will also be responsible for promoting, assessing and managing other JPF small grants and programmes, as well as representing the foundation at a large number of prestigious events where we celebrate young people’s achievements.

 

Salary: £28,740 p/a.  Full time, 37.5 hrs per week

About the person

You will be a team player who can demonstrate a close alignment with JPF values, strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to think creatively and analytically.

You will need to be flexible and be able to work in a fast paced, varied and diverse office.
