Grants Officer - The Access to Justice Foundation

Salary:          £31,000

Contract:      Permanent/ full or part time

About the role 

The successful candidate will provide ongoing administrative, operational, and data management support for our funding programmes. You will maintain relationships with grantees; you will support drafting of documents, memos, reports, and materials; and you will provide ongoing support for our funding programmes as needed. A member of the Grants team, you will report to a Grants Manager (who leads day-to-day operational delivery of our grant programmes). This is both an administrative and project management role – we are looking for a candidate with both sets of skills.  

Duties and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide ongoing administrative, operational, and data management support for our funding programmes. Your duties will include:  

  • Support the smooth administration of our grants programmes, including the application and reporting process and dealing with grantee enquiries 
  • Work with colleagues across the staff team to support our work to make the case for funding for advice 
  • Monitor the grants email inbox and respond to incoming telephone enquiries 
  • Support grantee events, meetings and diary management – managing invitations, RSVPs, reminders, and room bookings
  • Take accurate minutes and record key actions arising from meetings 
  • Ensure grantee contact details and grant information are accurate and up to date on Salesforce 
  • Execute key administrative processes to support the grant making function, including supporting the Data & Learning Manager with data entry and analysis 
  • Represent the Access to Justice Foundation at external events (online and in person) 
  • Support the Grants Manager by drafting reports, carrying out research, and executing other Grants Team tasks  
  • Serve as the key point of contact for some grantees
