About the role
We're looking for a Grants Manager to join our team. The role is about the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, delivering grants programmes effectively and efficiently, and keeping abreast of developments across the NHS and in the healthcare sector for the benefit of patients. The successful candidate will hold an integral role in the delivery of the charity’s grants programme during the implementation of its new three-year strategy.
As the Grants Manager, you will: be an inspiring and empowering member of the grants team; deliver assigned grants programmes and contribute significantly to their design and implementation; contribute significantly to grants processes, ensuring they are fit for purpose; be able to work independently and have a keen eye for detail as well as the bigger picture; cultivate key relationships with internal colleagues, and external partners and stakeholders; be able to negotiate and provide practical advice and support to applicants and grantees; problem-solve and provide solutions to resolving problems arising in grant-making; have significant ability to multi-task and prioritise; have significant ability to work independently and set your own work deadlines as well as take account of the impact your deadlines may have on the rest of the team.
