Roles and responsibilities:
Corporate partnerships
- Research, approach and develop new corporate partnership opportunities, including corporate foundations, as agreed with the Head of Corporate Partnerships, managing a pipeline of corporate fundraising activity
- Develop partnerships and steward them where possible to become long-term supporters of Vision Foundation
- Support the development and delivery of partner fundraising and associated activities, attending in person where required
- Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to create toolkits, materials and presentations for corporate relationships to maximise fundraising opportunities.
- Provide written reports to corporate partners and other supporters as required
- Confidently present the key messages of the Vision Foundation and encourage support via a variety of media including informal conversations, networking, presentations, written literature
Events fundraising
- Develop and implement Vision Foundation’s challenge events offering for corporate partners and supporters by growing net income in this area and actively seeking new opportunities
- Manage logistics and delivery of events, as well as managing volunteers as appropriate. This includes ensuring our events are accessible for visually impaired participants
- Work with the Head of Corporate Partnerships and Senior Individual Giving Officer to implement post-event stewardship journeys to encourage further support to Vision Foundation
- Work with the Database Manager to monitor, analyse and report on event performance
- Work with the Communications Team to ensure social media posts and other promotion opportunities are carefully planned and well executed
- Support with special event planning, logistics and management, maximising the effectiveness of engagement and stewardship events in supporting the development of existing and prospective relationships
General support
- Monitor budgets, in conjunction with the Head of Corporate Partnerships
- Manage corporate partnerships and events fundraising administration ensuring that all donations and income are correctly recorded, tracked and thanked
- Use ThankQ, the fundraising database, to effectively administer and manage activities
- Provide general administration support across the fundraising team as required
- Work at all times in compliance with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice and data protection legislation
