About the role
To support the broad range of activities that make up UStSC’s Community Investment and Grants programme which aims to create strong, well-served and equal communities across Southwark. The role involves grants administration and monitoring, community engagement and outreach, publicity/communication and organization of events.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Grants Administration and Monitoring
- Plan and launch grants programmes
- Support in assessing grant applications and carrying out due diligence on applicants
- Authorise and track grants payments, working closely with the Finance Manager
- Track and collate monitoring information
- Regularly update the grants management system (FlexiGrant) and liaise with system managers as necessary
- Liaise with partners to agree and track grants monitoring
- Carry out visits and assessments of potential partners and existing partners
- Produce monitoring and other reports as required.
Small Grants Management
- Lead on the delivery of the small grants programme for UStSC, ensuring that this is delivered in line with budget
- Lead on the delivery of collaborative grants programmes, as and when the opportunities arise
