About the role
We are looking for a talented Communications & Engagement Manager to lead the Communications Team at the Jack Petchey Foundation, reporting directly to the CEO and shaping the communications strategy for a leading youth funder working in London and Essex. We are looking for a dynamic communicator who wants to take their next step into a fast-paced role at a well-respected youth charity that puts young people at the centre of all that we do.
We are at the forefront of work to amplify youth voices in London and Essex and work hard to engage with the young people in our network and provide platforms for their opinions and experiences. Young people are at the heart of all that we do, and the Communications and Engagement Manager is responsible for providing them with the tools, resources, contacts and services that enable them to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- To develop and oversee the delivery of JPF communications through a range of channels, ensuring that we create compelling content to promote the Foundation, its grants and opportunities, and place young people’s voices and experiences at the centre of our work.
- To manage the work of the Communications team (line managing two members of staff).
- To champion youth involvement across the Foundation, including leading JPF’s Youth Consultation Panel and ensuring the Foundation maintains relationships with alumni from JPF programmes.
