Charity Relationship Manager, Merseyside and Cheshire - Lloyds Bank Foundation England & Wales

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Contract: Part-time, secondment

Deadline: 12am, Monday 20 January 2025

About the role

We’re an independent charitable foundation funded by Lloyds Banking Group. We work in partnership with small and local charities, people and communities, changing lives and working towards a more just and compassionate society.

Through funding, support to develop, and influencing policy and practice we help small and local charities and Community Interest Companies (CICs) thrive, communities grow stronger, and people overcome complex issues and barriers so they can transform their lives.

We have a team of 11 Managers who are responsible for managing a portfolio of relationships with charitable partners and collaborating charities across England and Wales. With a significant focus on organisational development as a Foundation, the Manager supports funded partners in becoming more resilient and stronger so they can thrive beyond the period of their relationship with us. They do this by building trusted relationships with organisations to support them in identifying their most pressing organisational challenges; and help them overcome the challenges by building the knowledge, skills and capabilities of staff and trustees. They work with charities, CICs, or collaborating charities to identify the most appropriate form of support to respond to the identified priorities.

There is currently one Manager who covers the Northwest Region (excluding Cumbria).  However, we are now seeking expressions of Interest from people who may be interested in joining us as a part-time (3 days per week) secondment to cover Merseyside, Cheshire, Halton and Warrington until December 2026. The secondee will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders including connecting with networks to identify and optimise collaborative learning and sharing practice. The postholder will also play a pivotal role in sharing learning, intelligence and insights to ensure the Foundations’ strategy development, delivery and relationship with the Lloyds Banking Group consider regional needs and the operating contexts of our funded partners.

Further information about Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales and our approach to supporting our charity partners can be found here.
