About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business, Community, and Events Fundraiser to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support us to raise money for YBF and our members by engaging with local Barnet based businesses (to encourage donations and volunteering), coordinating our involvement in local community events (such as fairs and music festivals) and managing YBF-led fundraising events (such as our golf day and netball tournament).
The role will suit a self-motivated, creative, and enthusiastic individual who is well organised, a great communicator and passionate about supporting young people. In this role you can expect to create and deliver exciting fundraising initiatives at a local level in support of our income expectations.
We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
- A passion and motivation to raise money to support young people across Barnet
- Experience of managing your time and activities to a strict deadline (project management, monitoring, evaluation, running projects, etc)
- Highly numerate and attentive to detail
- Knowledge, understanding, and sensitivity to equality and diversity issues.
