It’s more than two years since we launched a Strategy for funding Immigration Advice Funding in London which made the case for investment in immigration advice, identified opportunities and priorities for funders, and set out what good funder practice looks like in this area.
With the Illegal Immigration Act now passed through Parliament, we’re inviting you to join other London Funders members to share thinking on which communities and places will likely be impacted by the Bill and the knock-on effects on areas homelessness and destitution. We’re also inviting you to consider what responses and actions from funders will be needed and to share your plans and strategies for supporting civil society to respond.
This meeting will be an opportunity to build our shared understanding of the investment going into the sector, what collaborative activity is taking place, and opportunities to do more, together.
