Co-chaired by London Funders members Oliver Carrington, Evaluation Consultant at Imperial Health Charity, and Dina Papamichael, Director of Consultancy at Rocket Science, the next London Funders Research & Evaluation Network will meet online on Thursday 12th December as we explore how grantmakers use evidence to influence their funding priorities and their strategic approach.
We're pleased to be joined by London Funders members Cripplegate Foundation, the Co-op Foundation, and the John Ellerman Foundation as they share how they've been using data, best to use evidence, data, and learning insights to shape their funding approaches.
We will hear from:
- Sarah Benioff, CEO, and Anne Shewring, Programme Director from Cripplegate Foundation and Islington Giving will present their experience of involving the local community in focus groups and peer-research, to feed into funding priorities
- Deanne Dixon, Funding and Partnerships Manager, and Ella Smyth, Funding and Partnerships Manager, will discuss the Co-op Foundation's recent use of youth safety research to develop a new round of unrestricted funding
- Alice Thornton, Head of Research and Impact, will talk about the John Ellerman Foundation’s current efforts to build their next strategy using data and learning
As always, after the presentations, there will be optional time for member discussion. This can include broader funder evaluation topics, peer troubleshooting, and sharing useful resources.
Please register here to stay up to date with developments. If you would like to feed into this or future meetings, or have any access needs or questions, please reach out to our Membership Manager, Nasyah.
