Join fellow London Funders members to explore what the Renters' Rights Act means for renters and how funders can support
Chaired by Homeless Link, Commonweal Housing, and St-Martin-in-the-Fields Charity, the London Funders Housing and Homelessness Network will meet in-person on Wednesday 11th February.
For our first meeting of 2026, we’ll explore what the Renters' Rights Act means for renters, how it will shape the PRS landscape, and how funders can offer meaningful support through the transition.
We’ll be joined by:
- London Citizens Advice, who will share an overview of emerging advice and legal needs for renters in light of the changes.
- The Renter’s Reform Coalition - represented by the Nationwide Foundation and Generation Rent - who will offer insights into the support renters need to understand and exercise their rights, and what must happen for landlords to comply with the Act.
- The Pan-London PRS Forum - represented by Fat Macys - who will outline the Forum’s work and highlight key challenges facing the homelessness sector in London’s PRS market, including how the Act may influence efforts to address these issues.
As always, there’ll be time in the meeting to share emerging opportunities and challenges across the housing and homelessness sector, exchange updates about our work, and reflect on how we can continue using this network as a collaborative space for learning, troubleshooting, and collaboration. Sign up here to be kept up to date.
We hope you're able to join us for an afternoon of learning over teas, coffee and biscuits.
If you are interested in feeding into this meeting or future meetings, please email our Membership Manager, Nasyah, on [email protected].
The Network is open to any London Funders member interested in or actively funding work related to housing and homelessness.
