The Healthy London Network will be meeting in-person on Tuesday 2 July to explore how funders can contribute to the tackling of health inequalities in London.
We will hear from the GLA about the impact of creative health initiatives and interventions. We’ll also hear from the London Borough of Newham and Race Equalities in Newham – a grassroots Black-led local charity – about their partnership to tackle health inequalities experienced by Black communities in Newham. Finally, Rocket Science will tell us more about their work for the Battersea Alliance and the South West London ICB to explore the value of hyper-local and small community activities in health intervention and prevention.
Join us as we explore some of the ways London’s health inequalities are being addressed and how funders can play an important role in ensuring all Londoners have good health outcomes.
If you would like to join this meeting online, have any access needs, questions or would like to feed into future meetings, please reach out to our Membership Manager, Nasyah.
