We were delighted to be joined by James Sandbach from Citizens Advice who shared information about the new Development Manager role that the 28 Citizens Advice Bureaus in London have created to ensure better coordination and partnership working across London. James also shared what new and emerging trends Citizens Advice are seeing when it comes to the cost of living crisis, it’s impact on low-paid Londoners and the wider advice sector. Mary-Ann Foxwell, Chief Executive of Wandsworth Citizens Advice also joined to give us a local perspective. We heard from Steven Francis who shared lessons from changing systems at Hackney Council’s advice services and had an update from Elisabeth Mahoney, Senior Policy Officer at the GLA about the Robust Safety Net mission.
