As 2025 draws to a close, I wanted to say a big thank you for your inspiration, commitment and support over the past year.
For myself and the whole team, it is a privilege to work with such an engaged movement of members, and your insight and energy have shaped and enabled everything that we’ve achieved together.
All of this stood out at our AGM last week where the conversations were a reminder of what makes this network so valuable - the willingness of funders across sectors to come together, to champion and challenge one another, and find better ways to make a difference at a time when we need to build a renewed sense of solidarity, ambition and hope.
At the end of last week our Board met for the first time as the trustees of Funders Together - following the changes to our governing document that members so strongly endorsed at our General Meeting in November. These updates enable us to work in London and beyond (removing the geographic restriction on our work), and the change of our registered charity name to Funders Together reflects this. We will continue to be a strong voice for London and our commitment to focusing on what matters to our city and communities remains at the heart of what we do as London Funders.
These changes will also strengthen our ability to work with partners who share our vision and to support the whole ecosystem as a trusted convenor and collective voice — now and in the years ahead. Many of you have been in touch already with thoughts on how we can make the most of this opportunity through new partnership opportunities, and if you would like to discuss the changes or explore how we can work more closely in the future, I would love to catch up for a call or a coffee in the new year.
Looking ahead to January, we’re hugely excited about what’s in store...
We will be announcing further plans for our London Leadership Board, which will guide London Funders’ work and ensure we have a strong voice for members in the capital. Other highlights ahead include announcing the first funded partners through Propel Long Term Grants programme delivered by Collaboration Circle, as well as kick starting our new Big Local Unpacked programme with Local Trust. We’re also looking forward to seeing many of you at the London Funders Annual Conference in February.
In the meantime, thank you once again for everything you bring to this network, and everything you do to enable our communities to thrive. We look forward to working with you in 2026 to build on the work we’ve done this year, mobilising our efforts to continue to transform our practice, to influence and inspire together.
