We are shocked and saddened to see the news of the attack against our Jewish community in Golders Green this week. We stand in solidarity with our Jewish colleagues, friends, communities and everyone affected.
London is, and will remain, a city built on compassion and hope, that celebrates our diversity and strength.
We're concerned about the rise in antisemitism, and acknowledge that this attack does not sit in isolation from that. Addressing attacks like this require sustained measures across the system — combining strong action against extremism with sustained efforts to build community cohesion and prevent division. As funders we all have our part to play in this.
As an immediate action, as a leadership team, we will be hosting a workshop with the Antisemitism Policy Trust, which works to educate and empower parliamentarians, policy makers and opinion formers to address antisemitism. We will both be taking part, as will colleagues from our team and Board, and we encourage members to join us - please register via this link to be notified when dates and details are confirmed.
If you would like to speak to either of us about this work or other ways we can extend our support, please get in touch.
