London Catalyst are currently looking for two new trustees to join their board of trustees. One from the faith sector and one with knowledge and experience of accounting and financial management (experience in investment is desirable). As a trustee with accounting skills, you can provide financial oversight and governance, budgeting and financial planning, and improve financial control. As a trustee from the faith sector, you can bring your values-based leadership, deep community connection and cultural, social and spiritual insights.
Along with fellow trustees, you will share responsibility for overseeing the charity and setting strategy. The Board meets four times a year, late afternoon, at our office in Waterloo, or via video conferencing. Trustees also serve on sub-committees for Grants and Finance. Visits to our grantees are encouraged to help foster a better understanding of the groups we fund.
