Chaired by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the London Funders Arts, Heritage and Culture Network will meet in-person on Wednesday 25th March.
Chaired by Selina Papa, Head of Engagement at National Lottery Heritage Fund, the London Funders Arts, Heritage and Culture Network will meet in-person on Wednesday 25th March 2026 to explore how funders can work together to tackle the rising costs of maintaining arts and heritage spaces.
The arts, heritage and culture sectors continue to face challenges, one of which continues to be the increasing costs of operating and maintaining their buildings and estates, including many heritage buildings with unique requirements. The Culture, Media and Sport Committee has only recently written to the Government after DCMS-commissioned research into the repair, maintenance and renewal of cultural venues in England highlighted a reported funding deficit of around £3 billion for urgent work – with a total estimated repair bill of £7million. You can read the report here.
As always, there'll be time in the meeting to collectively horizon scan and share any general updates. Register for your place here.
