Zaynab joined the team in October 2025 bringing a background in grant making having worked at Paul Hamlyn Foundation for two years as a Grants Manager where she worked closely with the Migration and Youth funds. Prior to this she has interned at the Civil Service and with a communications agency where she worked on urgent and developing policy issues such as transport and health.
Zaynab has a degree in International History from the LSE and her thesis, an intellectual history on 'Islamophobia', explored Anti-Muslim sentiments in Britain. Since then, she has continued to engage in discussions around Islamophobia and consider barriers and challenges which impact Muslim communities. Zaynab finds hope in social justice work and funding practices which work towards a sector which is inclusive of all voices and experiences.
