I joined London Funders as a trustee in December 2022. I joined John Lyon’s Charity as Chief Executive in April 2017. I hold a Masters’ and Doctorate in Economics from Cambridge University and had a career of 18 years in banking until 2012. I grew up in a council house in Basildon Essex and was the first member of my family to go to university. Prior to joining John Lyon’s Charity, I was Co-Chief Executive of Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew Foundation.
Ask Lynne about: Leadership and Collaboration. My focus is on the issues facing the Children and Young People’s sector and to present the Charity as a thought leader and collaborator to influence and learn from other funders and policymakers to create change. I am passionate about collaboration and I have been pleased and excited at the opportunities John Lyon’s Charity has had to work with London Funders on shaping both the emergency response to Grenfell and the LCRF to Covid.
Lynne's hidden London gem is: Chiswick House and Gardens has beautiful gardens and woods to lose yourself in as well as one of the best examples of Neo-Palladian architecture in London.
