Geraldine joined the team in 2016 as a consultant, securing a permanent role in 2018. In previous roles in frontline community work, Geraldine was Chief Executive of Community Links, a social action charity working alongside local people to tackle inequality in east London and Founder/Director of a social enterprise, GAP Research, which supported residents in diverse communities to undertake their own research and to work with public agencies to design effective solutions to long-standing problems. Bringing that experience into the funding sector, alongside her role at London Funders, Geraldine is the lead Trustee for Social Action at the John Ellerman Foundation and the Co-ordinator of the Trust for London's Citizenship and Integration Initiative.
Ask Geraldine about: collaboration – opportunities to join existing collaborations, appetite to develop new ones, and what we’re learning about how collaboration creates the conditions for civil society and funders to work together to tackle London’s biggest issues.
Geraldine’s hidden London gem: not exactly hidden, but my greatest pleasure is the variety of noodle options around Spitalfields and Commercial St.
