About the role
Paul Hamlyn Foundation is one of the largest independent grant-making foundations in the UK. As Director of Grants, you will lead the development of Paul Hamlyn Foundation’s grant-making strategy, towards our vision for a just society in which everyone, especially young people, can realise their full potential and enjoy fulfilling and creative lives.
As a grant maker, we take seriously our commitment to social justice, to becoming an anti-racist organisation, and to putting into action the need to address inequalities in philanthropy. The Director of Grants will be critical in leading this thinking, while looking at the whole grant-making journey to provide exceptional service standards to those who apply to us and those we fund. The Director of Grants also plays an important role as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the overall strategic direction and effectiveness of the Foundation.
