This session (co-hosted with the GLA) explored what kinds of data funders and funded projects hold on a current issue and how they make use of it’.

Vivienne Avery (Demography and Policy Analysis Manager, Intelligence Unit- GLA) shared data on migrants/refugees and current challenges/questions. Click here for Vivienne's presentation.
Charlotte Peel (Policy Officer- Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants) demonstrated the data that JCWI generates, and showed how it uses this data to influence policy and identify the challenges of sharing.  Click here for Charlotte's presentation
The speakers explored how sources of data can be linked/shared/analysed to provide real-time, rich data on issues facing migrants and refugees, and what works in addressing issues.
