This session heard from speakers presenting Lewisham Council’s approach to transferring the library assets and Eco Communities bid to run them, and their subsequent management of the buildings. The presentation given by Antonio Rizzo, Lewisham Council, can be found here. The meeting also featured Larraine Hart from Community Landuse on Infrastructure Planning in London, including community facilities of various kinds with hybrid business models to make them sustainable and public assets like greenspace. Lorraine described a research project to collate evidence on planning investment into community infrastructure in London.
