The role of funders in supporting grant holders to monitor, evaluate and learn
Chaired by Dina Papamichael, Rocket Science, and Oliver Carrington, Imperial Health Charity, the upcoming London Funders Research & Evaluation Network will meet online on Tuesday 9th September. We'll be focusing on how grant makers can support grant holders to monitor, evaluate and learn.
As funders, we often require our grant holders to monitor, evaluate, and learn from their work, but how can we go the extra mile to support them to do this? Funders have several options available to them: from funding consultancy advice, and setting up grant opportunities to fund evaluation and data improvements, to lighter touch options such as sharing evaluation guidance, and providing free access to training. Join us to be inspired by other London Funder members who will discuss the approaches that their organisations have taken.
As always, after hearing from our speakers, there will be time for member discussion including peer-troubleshooting, sharing useful resources, and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
If you are interested in feeding into this meeting or future meetings, please email our Membership Manager, Nasyah, on nasyah.bandoh@londonfunders.org.uk.
