The event consisted of practical learning sessions to enable participants to:

  • Develop an understanding of the current landscape of ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ and how this is affecting business-community engagement.
  •  Be able to identify what your organisation has to offer and gain from partnerships with businesses.
  • Understand what skills and resources are needed to make the most of your business partnerships.
  •  Gain a range of methods and approaches to building partnerships.
  •  Hear from businesses regarding their current partnerships with the VCS.

Followed by an informal networking and information session which will introduce participants to some of the initiatives in London which aim to connect community and voluntary organisations to private sector at both local and London wide levels.
