She oversees funding across England, including the Fund’s Strategic programmes- an investment of over £500m tackling some of society’s most entrenched social problems ranging from early years, to young person’s mental health and social isolation. Prior to joining the Fund, Emma spent the earlier part of her career in teaching and leadership positions across a number of inner-city London schools. She then worked as a specialist in families and children with complex needs, leading teams and programmes for a number of Local Authorities, The Family and Childcare Trust, DfE and Institute of Education.
