London Funders have appointed two consultants to deliver the London’s Giving initiative

Clare Thomas has extensive public and independent grant making experience. For 17 years she ran City Bridge Trust, London's largest grant making foundation. She was Deputy Clerk at the Sir John Cass's Foundation before moving on to the Home Office advising on policy relating to charities, volunteering and funding national infrastructure organisations. Currently she runs a consultancy on grant making, charities and organisational development. She is a former chair of the Association of Charitable Foundations, The Building Exploratory and The Advisory Group on the Third Sector at NOMS. She is currently is a board member of Scope and the Human Trafficking Foundation.

Deborah Xavier specialises in strategic planning, project development, fundraising and income generation for the voluntary sector. She has 10 years experience in developing and leading charities, most recently as Chief Executive of City based youth charity the Brokerage Citylink. Deborah was instrumental in developing the Pilotlight model of skills giving to small charities, taking it from a great idea to a national organisation which has helped hundreds of small and medium UK charities to plan for growth and sustainability.
