This section of our website is dedicated to providing you with tools and insights to help you meet the challenges of recession, and share your experience with other funders of London’s voluntary and community sector (VCS).
This resource grew out of the conference, The recession: we’re all in it together (11 February 2009) when funders and second tier and front-line voluntary organisations came together to develop mutually agreed solutions for London. A commitment was made to collaborate over ideas, information and activity and this website is our first response to helping with that.
We aim to keep it up to date with
Amongst funders, there is innovative and collaborative work going on to limit damage and offer positive support for communities and the VCS and we want this site to share useful and thought-provoking material. Please take a look and tell us what we could usefully add and what you want to tell other funders about. Are there questions you have that your colleagues in the public sector or in foundations could help answer?
The London Funders Secretariat will regularly add new material to the website, and we will be very pleased to hear from you on any thoughts you have about how we can improve and extend it.
