Membership of London Funders is open to local authorities and public, corporate and charitable grantmakers and investors in London’s voluntary and community sector.
We provide opportunities for funders to share and learn from each other’s experience and to forge productive relationships for the benefit and sustainability of London‘s VCS.
Membership offers funders a pan-London perspective to encourage shared thinking about the current funding agenda, assist strategic planning and create opportunities for collaboration.
Subscription rates are based on annual support of the VCS in London.
Organisations whose grantmaking is not their main activity, may join as Associates, able to participate in all London Funders events but not to vote.
Membership benefits include:
- Quarterly member seminars on topical funding issues, featuring senior-level speakers, with challenging debates and opportunities to share opinion and good practice with funder colleagues
- Project group meetings enabling members to work together on specific issues in small groups
- Six e-bulletins per year focusing on key funding issues and highlighting members’ programme updates to the wider membership
- Opportunities to network with a wide spectrum of funders including statutory, corporate and foundation funders across London
- Access to policy briefing meetings, member updates and occasional joint events with key agencies on current issues
- Opportunities to raise your own issues and disseminate and discuss your programme outcomes or research with funder colleagues from all sectors across London through our usual programmes of events or in a tailor-made gathering
- A recession focused website enabling ideas, information and good practice to be shared between funders
- Complimentary recruitment service: member vacancies can be posted on the London Funders' homepage, free of charge
